Installation and Wiring Precautions
Power Supply Matching
Constant Voltage Power Supply: A constant voltage power supply matching the LED strip's rated voltage (e.g., 12V/24V) must be used to avoid voltage fluctuations that could damage the LEDs or cause unstable brightness.
Power Redundancy: A 20%-30% power margin should be reserved in the power supply to prevent overload due to increased LED strip quantity or prolonged high-brightness operation.
Splitting Power Supply: For long-distance or high-power scenarios, it is recommended to use multiple power supplies for different areas to reduce voltage drop.
Signal Cable Wiring
Dedicated Cables: Use twisted-pair shielded cable (e.g., RVSP 2×1.0mm²) as the DMX signal cable to reduce electromagnetic interference.
Avoid Parallelism: Signal cables and power cables must be laid separately, with a minimum spacing of 30cm. When crossing, they should be perpendicular to reduce coupling interference.
