RGB Neon Strip
The RGB Neon LED Strip Lights provide the look of traditional neon lighting. Fully encased in silicone, these durable dual-bend neon strip lights are safer and more efficient than traditional neon glass tubes. The dual bend strips can be twisted, flexed, and cut into segments to create unique shapes for custom installations. Choose Bend & Shape
Horizontal bending neon can be shaped into curved designs where vertical bends like traditional strip lighting. Both designs have a flat and curved profile option depending on desired effect.
Determine Power Input
Each type of neon flex has a watts/foot rating. Calculate the amount of feet you want to power and multiply it by the W/ft spec. Choose a power supply with larger load capacity than your calculation.
Test Neon
Before permanently mounting the neon flex light we recommend you unroll it from its reel and test it. Be sure that it is the type you want and desired color tone before permanent installation.
Mounting Accessories
Each roll of neon flex light comes with mounting clips. VHB tape will not stick to the silicone housing so you must use mounting clips or a designated track for mounting.
Mount & Install
When the mounting accessories are in place you can then push the neon into the mounting accessory. Each neon flex has a specially designed clip or profile to hold the light in place.
Wire Neon
Wire all neon light leads back to 24VDC power without exceeding maximum load or serial connections. For larger installs parallel connections are ideal for best light output.
Add a Dimmer or Controller
White and Warm White neon flex can be dimmed using our PWM dimmers or Dimmable Power Supplies. When using our RGB neon one a color controllers is necessary.
Install of RGB Neon Strip
Step 1: Gather Your Materials
Before you start installing your LED neon light strips, you'll need to gather a few materials. You'll need LED neon light strips, a power supply, and a connector. You'll also need a cutter or scissors, a ruler, and tape or adhesive. Make sure you choose the right size of light strips for the area you want to cover.
Step 2: Clean The Surface
Once you have all your materials, you need to clean the surface where you want to install the light strips. Make sure the surface is dry and free of any dirt or debris.
Step 3: Measure And Cut The Strips
Using your ruler, measure the length of the area where you want to install the light strips. Then, use your cutter or scissors to cut the strips to the desired length. Make sure you cut the strips carefully, so they fit perfectly on the surface.
Step 4: Attach The Connector
Attach the connector to the end of the LED neon light strips that you want to connect to the power supply. Make sure the connector is properly attached and secure.
Step 5: Power Up The Strips
Once you have attached the connector, you can connect the LED neon light strips to the power supply. Make sure the power supply is plugged into an outlet and turned on. You should see the light strips turn on.
Step 6: Attach The Strips To The Surface
Using tape or adhesive, attach the LED neon light strips to the surface. Make sure the strips are properly aligned and secure. You can use tape or adhesive to hold the strips in place as they adhere to the surface.
