DMX512 5050 RGB Pixel LED Strip 60LEDs/m DC24V - Professional Lighting Solution
What is DMX LED Strip?
DMX LED strip is a high-performance, multi-functional LED light strip with external IC that uses the advanced DMX512 communication protocol.
DMX LED strip can be dimmed, colored, changed and other lighting effects through the DMX controller.
The external IC design of the light strip can greatly improve the stability of the light strip and the uniformity of the lighting effect, making the light softer, more comfortable and delicate.
The working voltage is 12V, 24V; the LED density is 60LEDs/m, 72LEDs/m, 120LEDs/m; the colors are white light, CCT, RGB, RGBW.
DMX LED strip uses differential signal transmission, and the input signal will continue to be transmitted and will not be affected by the damage of a certain pixel.
What is differential signal? Differential transmission is a signal transmission technology. Different from the traditional practice of one signal line and one ground line, differential transmission transmits signals on both lines. The amplitude of the two signals is the same and the phase is opposite. The signal transmitted on these two lines is a differential signal.

Product Overview

LED Model: 5050 SMD (5.0mm × 5.0mm, high brightness)
LED Type: RGB (Red + Green + Blue, no dedicated white)
LED Density: 60 LEDs/m (good balance of brightness and resolution)
Voltage: DC 24V (reduces voltage drop over long runs)
Power Consumption:
~10.8W–14.4W/m (depends on LED current, e.g., 50–60mA/LED)
Max current: ~0.6A/m (verify with manufacturer specs)
High-quality LED chip, pure gold wire and copper bracket LED, higher brightness and better quality. SMD 5050 RGB LED chip emits 120 ° wide-angle light, ensuring uniform coverage on difference surface. it has 60 LEDs per meter, providing dense and consistent illumination, eliminating led dark spots even in large installations. The RGB configuration supports over 16 million color combinations, making it perfect for creating immersive environments.

DMX512 Control
The DMX external IC model is UCS512H4L. The UCS512H series is a DMX512 differential parallel protocol LED driver chip. It can select 1/2/3/4 field high-precision constant current output and 65536 grayscale levels.
The integration of the DMX512 protocol allows for control of individual pixels, enabling complex dynamic lighting effects. This precision is very suitable for stage production, retail displays, and architectural lighting. Our DMX512 strip chart is compatible with all standard DMX controllers.
Difference IP Ratings
√ IP20: Ideal for indoor dry environments like offices, museums, or retail stores.
√ IP65: suitable for covered outdoor areas, such as awnings or patio ceilings.
√ IP67 / IP68: designed for direct exposure to water, including swimming pools, fountains, or outdoor signage.

Our DMX512 RGB color LED strip has passed CE and RoHS certification, meeting European safety, health, and environmental standards. This certification ensures that the product does not contain harmful substances and meets standards for safety and environmental protection, allowing you to use it with confidence in commercial and residential lighting.
1. DMX512 protocol
It is compatible with the standard DMX512 (1990) protocol and the extended DMX512 protocol through data reception, and is often used to control lights used on stage, in bars or clubs. "512" stands for digital multiplexing with 512 pieces of information. One DMX line transmits 512 channels. One RGB light strip requires 3 DMX channels (red, green and blue) to control.
2. Addressable
Each pixel (each LED or a small group of LEDs) can be controlled independently. Since the color and brightness of each pixel can be programmed individually, complex lighting effects and animations can be achieved.
3. Signal parallel protocol
Each pixel does not affect the operation of other pixels. The signal sent to each pixel is sent in parallel, not serially. If one LED or its control IC fails, the next LED on the strip can continue to work and light up.
4. Each pixel can be cut individually
DMX LED strips are flexible and cuttable, you can do DIY projects and install them where you want.
5. DMX external IC
The DMX external IC model is UCS512H4L. The UCS512H series is a DMX512 differential parallel protocol LED driver chip. It can select 1/2/3/4 field high-precision constant current output and 65536 grayscale levels.

FAQs
1.How many RGB LED strips can be controlled with one DMX line?
3 DMX channels (R/G/B) per RGB strip; 512 available channels let one DMX line control up to 170 strips (512 ÷ 3).
2.What is the DMX address of a DMX LED strip?
Every pixel or pixel group in a DMX LED strip is assigned a unique DMX address. This address not only indicates the pixel's position in the DMX data stream but also enables individual control of lighting effects.
3.What is the core difference between DMX512 and ordinary LED light strips?
DMX512 light strips have built-in DMX decoders, which can receive standard DMX512 signals (31.25kbps baud rate) and support multi-device cascading control (up to 32 devices on a single line), making them suitable for large-scale lighting system integration.
4.How to calculate the DMX address?
Strip pixel count ×3 (for RGB) or ×4 (for RGBW) equals the total DMX addresses per meter.
5.What is the difference between built-in decoder and external decoder?
Built-in decoder is integrated in the light strip, without additional equipment, suitable for integrated installation; external decoder is independent of the light strip, easy to maintain and share control of multiple light strips, suitable for complex systems
