What is WS2811 LED Strip?
WS2811 LED Strip is a colorful LED strip with external IC. DC12V or DC24V power supply voltage. Usually 3 lamp beads or 6 lamp beads (1 IC) form a pixel.
WS2811 is a three-channel LED drive control dedicated circuit. The chip contains an intelligent digital interface data latch signal shaping and amplification drive circuit, a high-precision internal oscillator and a 15V high-voltage programmable constant current output driver. At the same time, in order to reduce power supply ripple, the three channels have a certain delay conduction function, so that the circuit ripple can be reduced when the frame is refreshed.

A: The general power supply voltage of the light strip is DC12V~24V, and it needs to be powered by a switching power supply. The power of the power supply is determined by the power of the light strip and the connection length (do not overload the power supply, please leave a 20% margin for the power supply)
Q: 2. How to connect the 12V pixel LED Strip to the controller?
A: The Addressable WS2811 12V LED Strip needs to use a controller to achieve the changing effect. The effect can be edited by computer software. Copy the edited effect to the SD card (please format the SD card before use), and then insert it into the controller;
The signal mode is SPI (clock/data) mode. The number of points (distance) controlled by different controllers is different. The general controller can control 2048 points, and some can reach 8192 points.
